Traditional Superfood Smoothie

Getting our kids to have all the nutrients and goodness they need for growing bodies and brains can be tricky but this Traditional Superfood Smoothie makes it easy. With the added bonus of liver powder (I won’t tell if you won’t), this simple smoothie makes the perfect running late breakfast. Simply double the quantities and you’ll be starting your day right too. 

The creamy, nutty flavour of this Traditional Superfood Smoothie will appeal to even the fussiest of eaters, the ‘I don’t want to eat breakfast’ crowd and those who say they are too busy to have breakfast, ensuring they start their day on the right foot.

Thankfully Nourished New Zealand Liver Powder

Traditional Superfood Smoothie

Serves 1

1 small (or 1/2 large) banana
4 - 6 nuts (brazil, almond or cashew)
3/4 cup milk of choice (we do 1/2 almond milk, 1/2 raw goat’s milk)
1/4 tsp Thankfully Nourished liver powder
1/2 tsp Motion Potion
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil
1 egg yolk

Blend everything except egg yolk on high till well combined.

Add egg yolk and blend gently for a few seconds. Serve!
